Dear Ann,

The boys and I were very sad to hear of your loss. Please know that you, your sons, and their families are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mr. K. defined what it means to be a great man. I respect him immensely and credit him with helping me get a good start in life as a young boy from a broken home. There's no doubt that I won the Scoutmaster lottery although I didn't come to fully appreciate it until years later. My devotion to Scouting today is because of Mr. K and his example helped shape me into a man who does his best to honor and provide for his family. I hope that I can live up to his example. I regret not getting to MS in recent years to see him. My life is a small part of his legacy and for that I'll be forever grateful. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Please remember that he's touched more lives than you know. God bless. Colonel and Mrs. Harold Bass, US Marine Corps (retired)

To the family of Everette Kimbriel:

We are so sorry for your loss. May God bless you and comfort you during this hard time. May God also send peace to your family. We really didn't know Mr. Kimbriel but we knew his son Mike Tucker and he is a great man, very friendly, and also a good friend. From what we have heard about his father he is just like him.

Ms. Marilyn Kimbriel and family:
It is with deep sympathy that I send this note. Everette was so good to me when I came to the Engineering Dept. at the telephone company. He was always willing to help and became a good friend. May God bless you and comfort you and give you peace as you celebrate his life tomorrow.
Love and Prayers, Evelyn LaBatte Thornhill
