Barbara,
While searching for the right sentiments to put into words, I found myself reminiscing about my memories of your mother. She was always kind, very proper, and so well respected. Her manners were impeccable! I remember traveling with your family to Virginia on vacation and watching your mother to learn more about manners in restaurants. Your Mom understood the importance of her job as a mother. I remember as teenagers, we would roll our eyes about her objections to the lyrics in Beatles songs—but even as teenagers, we knew the reason she spoke up was because she cared so much about us. I will remember your mother's smile most of all and the happiness she exuded when she was around friends.

As a McKendree UMYF "youth" in the late 70's, I well remember Mrs. Muncy, Vern and Barbara, during the pre-service coffee time in the Fellowship Hall. Mrs. Muncy always made a point of saying "hello," finding out how I was doing, and asking about my mom. I remember her as an elegant, kind, friendly, and most gracious lady, whose warmth and gentle smile always brightened my day. Peace. Ian C. MacDonald (Nashville, TN)
