Forest was a model member of the Board of Directors of Trinity Lutheran College. His commitment to Trinity's Christ centered mission, enthusiasm and willingness to roll up his sleves and work with administrators, staff and faculty were precious and outstanding gifts to the college community. It was a blessing and honor to have Forest on the Board of Directors. John M. Stamm Ph.D., Trinity Lutheran College President (ret)

I had the great honor & privilege of serving with Forest on the board of Trinity Lutheran College during a critical period in the school's development. Forest's keen insights, zest for life and faith witness will stay with me forever. The world around him, as well as the lives of those who knew him, became a better place through his efforts. While Forest has loosed the ties of his mortal coil, his presence will continue on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him. His inner peace was evident in all he did and I pray for the Lord's comfort for each of us who mourn his passing, but celebrate his life and his friendship.

I was about 4 or 5 years old when my mother and we went to Raynsford to visit Forest's mom, Lilly. Forest was 1o years older than me, and he had a bicycle with a basket on it. I was impressed! He put me in the basket and took me for a ride around the block. That ride is something I have never forgotten. THANK YOU Forest....your cousin, Joannie Forest Faldzinski

I got to know Forest late in his life during his service on the board of Trinity Lutheran College. From almost the first moment it was evident that he was a man of strong convictions and deep love for Trinity/LBI as well as all of the people associated with that institution. Forest was grounded in a deep love of Jesus Christ that permeated his daily life in such a good way. He was humble in spirit but principled in thought. He made a deep impression on me as well as many others. We will all miss him dearly.

My heart is so heavy and sad that you are not here. But the love and lessons of Faith you have given us are forever. There was never a Father that was more loved than you.
I love you, your Daughter Stephanie
