I will always cherish my last tour serving with CDR Francis T.Williams. He had a genuine compassion for the people he worked with. I will always treasure listening to his sea stories over morning coffee and how proud he was of his sons. CDR Williams, the Sailors you served with, will forever remember you. Janice our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
My heartfelt condolences to all of you. May you find comfort in the outpouring of love and the many, many shared conversations to celebrate Frank's life.
Today we honor and bid farewell to a fine man who served our nation proudly; as a Marine, and a Naval Officer. He was the type of person who knew how to respect others while commanding respect. He was the person who delivered my last oath of enlistment in the U. S. Navy. He told me it was an honor to do so; my reply “the honor was mine.” God will provide for you Commander Frank Williams as you provided so much too so many over the years. HMCM RET
I had the pleasure of knowing and working with CDR Williams in the Pharmacy Division at Ft. Detrick. He was not only a wonderful co-worker but also a good friend. He made my cilivian retirement in 2006 one of the most memorable occasions of my 33 years of cilivian service. He was surely a wonderful person who will be deeply missed.
We had the privelege of knowing and working with Frank in Sigonella. As a trusted colleague and friend- he was one of the people "standing by" when my dear son, Patrick was born! Who could have known he would be my OIC when I retired from NBHC Portsmouth in 2011?! Always a trusted confidante, leader, and friend- I can only pray that he knew how profoundly he touched our lives! The dream of opening our Warrior Health Clinic would not have come to fruition without Frank's support and commitment to caring for our Nation's heros. Janice, you all have been in our prayers daily through this past year. May God hold you in His loving hands and give you His peace during this time.
