On February 25, 2013, we lost a good friend, shipmate and a patriot.

I first met Frank in my backyard in Newport RI back in the early 90's...he was
thinking about coming back on board the Navy. Frank had served in
Vietnam and his blood was boiling over to rejoin...I think Desert
Shield/Desert Storm had a lot to do with it!

Over a beer we talked about the pro's and con's of a navy career...although we
both had no doubt he was going
to join. We became instant friends and I'm proud to say we've been
shipmates ever since. The fact he was a fellow New Englander and a die-hard
Red Sox and Patriots fan certainly helped!

I'm not sure if any other Pharmacy Officer in the history of Navy Pharmacy has
more
operational experience than Frank. He loved his Navy...his Sailors...and
his country. Our country lost a great and passionate patriot...and
we lost a
shipmate and friend.

Thank you Janice for your years of support during Frank's long and stellar Navy career. Our prayers are with you and your family.
