FRANK FARINO Sr. This man was greatly, respected by many. And it saddens me deeply, to hear of his death. But, we all, must take that step, in order to meet our Maker, someday. Gods Speed, COACH!
Uncle Frank is my husband's great uncle. I've only heard excellent things about him from everyone. I wish I'd known him better. He was respected & loved by all at Treadwell, and later at Whitehaven. I am so proud to be a 'Farino' here in Memphis & Uncle Frank is a big reason why. He helped to shape the lives of so many young men here & was a great influence on their lives. I know, that my husband became a 'good' man due to his influence and that has enriched my life. Much gratitude, rest in peace,Uncle Frank.
Coach Farino was loved and respected by all at Treadwell High School. When he walked through the halls, the girls would swoon and say he could have been a movie star. But alas, he was destined to do great things in the lives of the young people that he guided. He will never be forgotten. My deepest condolences to his family. Coach Farino was a good guy whom I both liked and respected. Having just learned of his WWII service, that respect has increased.
