I never had the privilege of meeting Fred or Patti personally but heard his daughter, Lori, speak much of them over the years since she married my nephew Brian Berry. I know that her love of animals comes from her father and what he began with her when she was just five. Given her kindnesses to me over the years I can only begin to imagine his goodness and kindness. May Fred savor eternal joy and may his wife and Lori in particular be comforted by all the good things done for him especially the times before he entered into his eternal rest. Enjoyed meeting & speaking w/Fred oftentimes as Lori's father-in-law during our visits to the Dayton Ohio area from California. Fred always had a bright cheerful smile for me & enjoyed showing me his firearms collection.
I'm sure he's now resting in a far better place.
Fred was so charming! All the nurses I knew loved him. He charmed me too! It should be illegal to be that charming. Lucky Patti. My husband Vince was brought to Christ as a teenager through this couple. So very important. Precious, precious people. God is embracing Fred as I write this, I just know it. Cindy Oney
