Gary and I have been good friends from the time I met him in OBC at Fort Sill Oklahoma in late 1959. Since then we visited quite a few times, and enjoyed bowling. In recent years we visited by phone several times per year. He was a great friend and a wonderful person. He will be missed.

I really respected Gary on how he did so much for his mother and father during their lifetime and especially when they became ill and he cared for them so very well. I bought his parents and his family home so I always feel a real closeness to his parents Hank and Manda and him. May he rest in peace. He was a good man.
Was so sorry to hear about Gary..... In the brief time I knew him I could tell he was a great guy. He was very brave & upbeat in his dire situation. I'm glad we were able to make his life a little easier for a short while.

I really enjoyed the time I spent with Gary even though I only know him a short time. I will miss him.
