Dear Dr. Acs,
I am so sorry to have heard of your husband's passing.
Besides having shared a name together and also having escaped from Hungary in 1956, my own children are named Andrew and Gregory. In fact, you were the attending Pediatrician at LIJ when Andrew was born in 1986 and we had an opportunity to meet.
When I first started in my career in academic Pediatric Dentistry I was often mistaken for your husband by those searching the scientifc citation index and performing literature reviews. They all wondered how I could have possibly performed such substantive and seminal research at such a young age. Sadly, I could never take any credit for any of your husband's wonderful accomplishments in advancing our scientific and knowledge base.
Please accept my condolences and those of my family.
