To Alin ,Rodica and all family and friends who loved George. I worked for the Ohio Geological Survey but only knew him in passing because I was based in Sandusky Ohio, but all the contacts that I had with him were just wonderful. I treasure the time with him and have thought of him often. I hope that in this trying time you will feel comfort it knowing that he touched so many folks in such positive ways.
George was such a wonderful, big-hearted man; he always had a kind word and a helping hand for others. I can see him showing OSU students how to do folk dances—in a red vest, and perhaps red in the face with his exertions, but beaming from ear to ear. Dumnezeu sa-l odihneasca, iar familiei sincere condoleante.
To Alin ,Rodica and all family and friends who loved Geoge.
We pray to GOD bring confort and pease to the you heart.
Together with the OSU Slavic Center, I send my deepest sympathy and sincere wishes for comfort and peace.
Our sincerest condolences to Rodica and Alin and the family. We have so many fine memories of him and you. When we were together in Columbus, our lives were enriched by all of you. We think of you, pray for you, especially at this time...
May his memory be eternal... Predrag and Tatyana, and on behalf of my parents, who also tried to call.
