We just learned of George's passing and were deeply saddened. Joyce - you and George were such dear friends of the Edwards' family. We made a donation in George's name to the school so his wonderful legacy can continue. With great love and fond memories from Diane and Paul Edwards

Rita and I are saddened to hear of Georges passing. A great leader and friend. Many a year we participated in the meetings in Jamaica and I admired his leadership.. Good times and good memories.

Ed & I will certainly miss all of the banter ~ George is well-remembered. Our theater evenings over the years have always been a joy!
I knew I recognized this name when I saw the paper. My mother, Marian Fears, worked for FFVA for many years. I had to put my thinking cap on for her boss' name, Jack Peters, but George Sorn is clearly remembered. She always spoke so highly of him and after reading of his illustrious life and career, it is so obvious why she did. Something is telling me she also said once she had seen Mrs. Sorn when she was in the hosp. & that really thrilled her. I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain that's right. Maybe Mrs. Sorn volunteered at a hosp. ? Just wanted to express my sincere sympathy to the family & wanted to share that his memory lives on, even past those who worked directly w/ him. Mother left FFVA in 1971 & sadly, passed away 16 yrs. ago. Bless you all. Marcia Fears Mills, Winter Park, FL
