Gerald A. "Jack" Haskins Sr.
We are all so very sorry to hear about uncle Jack's passing. But please know we love you all very much!!
Sarah, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God is standing by you every step of the way. Just look to Him for guidance and comfort. I love you. Wish I were there to give you a big hug. Sister
While I met you more than once, I can't claim to have actually known you. The type of man that you were is clearly reflected to the world in the children you leave with us, however, and they are and have been a joy to know. Be welcome in peace to your final home.
I remember when the Haskins first came to Bethel. All us girls were excited to meet the boys! Unfortunately, they were all too old for us....me being somewhere around 12 I think. But that didn't stop Jack from being our "older brother" and he took us to the skating rink after Sunday night church. Mama and Daddy trusted him so we got to do alot of things we wouldn't have done, had it not been for Jack! Bless his heart, he led the singing while I learned to play and never complained about how I played. Sometimes he had to make me slow down a bit.....I had a tendency to "boogie" everything up a bit!! Still do that today! Ha. So sorry he's gone from here, but....you didn't lose him...we know right where he is!!! Love, Maxine
You were the best Dad a girl could want. You showed me how to love God, to love others, and to be true to myself. I will always love you and will always miss you. Semper Fi!
