Geraldine M. Alsup

We met Gere (and Rea) through mutual friends when Mike and I first moved to Louisville. Gere was a delightful woman, full of energy and wit, and a great conversationalist. Mike and I extend our condolences to Rea and the family. We wish you peace of heart as you move forward past this sorrowful time.

From the time I was a baby "Nana" was always there to guide and teach me. Even when she tried to carry me out of the hospital in her hand bag after I was born. She also called me her "Knight in Shining Armour". Which is a title I hold near and dear to my heart and strive to be every day. She was a pillar of strength and touched more lives than anyone could ever imagine.

Ms. Alsup was my first grade teacher at Norton. I have always remembered her as one of my favorite teachers and loved seeing her out and about over the years, as she always looked the same as she did in 1967. May she rest in peace.

Dina was a delightful lady, and a true pleasure to know. She will be deeply missed. Our love and prayers are with you.
