This candle is lit to celebrate Gib's life. I only knew him a very short time when the Anema's were good neighbors of ours when they lived in Iowa during the 1950's.
I have fond memories of the many visits from Gib when he'd wheel himself down the block to our place when we lived in the same neighborhood back in Artesia. His smile and genuine joy was just as infectious then as it was to the very end. So glad your family had the opportunity to still celebrate his 70th birthday a few weeks ago. May you also find joy and comfort as you remember his life and celebrate his home-going tomorrow. Thanks for all the wonderful pictures you posted. Salem as lost one of its "stars" and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
We are sorry for your loss. We pray for peace and comfort for your family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. He is now "Home" and we all shall see him again someday.
Gib was a blessing to all who got to know him. I am sure there is much rejoicing going on with him in his eternal home. Sympathy and love to all his family. May God give you grace in your loss. Love, Vern and Shar
