Gracia Achanzar (Resurreccion)
To a dear Friend Grace,
We may not have know each other for long time. I may not be your best friend, we may not have shared our inner selves, but we known within our hearts that we share mutual admirations manifested in our every encounter.
On the first night we gathered to offer prayers for your eternal repose, I volunteered to start the rosary, mainly because it happened to be a Sorrowful Mystery, a very appropriate way to express how sorrowful I am of your passing away. During the prayer, your spiritual presence is so strong every time your name is mentioned in Hail Mary full of "Grace" that no matter how I try to control my emotions, the feelings that you can't be physically reached and be held anymore becomes more intense. You are now due to be born again, because in order for us to be born again, we need to die first, and when that time comes, it is life everlasting.
In my grief, I console myself remembering you, that despite our brief acquaintances, you shown me true friendship, appreciated and consistently showed admirations towards me as a person which proves your unconditional acceptance of me as your friend.
Goodbye, my dear friend, will surely gonna miss you, you'll always have a place in my heart. Wish you a happy and glorious journey back to our Almighty Creator. Missing you with love.
It was in 2001, when our friendship with Grace began. This friendship has grown in many ways, that it grown to admiration, respect and love. Grace is a lovely person, talented creative, artistic and very helpful. She always helped me design our dance costumes. Grace and I went out for lunches and shopping. We had lots of fun together. I enjoyed and appreciated her company very much.
Grace, I am going to miss you a lot. You will always have a special space in my heart. Both of us love to dance. You are always welcome to join us in our future dance practices. I know you will be there with us in spirit.
Grace, may you rest in peace. Farewell to you my dear, until we meet again and dance again with our husband as our partner in heaven. I love you and pray for you.
First of all to Grace family, relative and friends, I extend my deepest sympathy to all of you. I met Grace through the Fil-Am Senior Dance Group a few years ago. She was a good dancer, good friend to all. We will miss her company and friendship.
Dear Grace, rest in peace, with love and prayers.
Grace you had a beautiful life that came to an end, and lived it. You are a wonderful person and everybody's friend. Just after your 70th Birthday, we went to a cruise in Europe and Scandinavia and we had a grand time. We looked forward to our monthly luncheon at the Elks Club for Women In Touch, the monthly tea's for the Flower Lover's Club and the side trips that was offered. Our Fil-Am Senior Dance Group, which was a riot when we get together, and Rebecca always fed us and made sure everything was comfortable. In our hearts all those memories remain of one we loved and will never forget. With much love and may you rest in peace.
Ate Grace is a beautiful lady, who always dressed in style. She never complained when she had aches and pains, especially, during all the times we practiced for our dance rehearsals. She loves to dance and always an eager dance. I will always treasure the times I spent with her. There will be a void when I go to pick her and Manang Terri up, for our monthly luncheon with the Women In Touch in Gilroy. Hernan and I will miss her very much. Ate Grace, we love you and may you rest in peace.
