Jean, Karen & Jeff,
There are very few people that have touched as many people's lives as Guy. As a Sunday school teacher and a handy man. He was always behind the scenes doing whatever needed to be done without expecting or wanting recognition. I believe he is getting his recognition now.
I will always remember shaking his "rough" (from working) hands. What a blessing he was to our family. You have our prayers.

Guy was a wonderful fellow, wonderful friend and family man. He will be missed by all but now he is looking to be with His Lord and eventually back in the arms of his family. He has left a great legacey for his family and friends and the result of his life will leave an inheritance for years to come. His life will not be forgotten but will ring true through many generations. My heart goes to all those left behind at this time, God is with you to comfort you and you will charish his memory always. The Lord Bless you and Keep you, The Lord make his face to shine upon you and give you peace and be gracious unto you. Amen. Jo Barnes Torrisi

I've only been a member of the church less than a year, but once you meet Guy and talk to him it seems like you've known him for years. You just know he is a good man and would do anything for you if he could. I always enjoy seeing him at the door and saying good morning to him. I know I will miss him as everyone at church will. You and your family are in my prayers. God bless. Karl, Debbie, and Kristi Long

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord

Jean,Karen,Jeff and Family, Heaven just became more precious to us all. I am so thankful that Guy answered God's greatest call , to that of a faithful servant. The thousands of lives he has affected both directly and indirectly of decades serving his Savior and Church. I am one of hundreds of kids who were influenced by him. May the Holy Spirit comfort you, as we look forward to the time we will see him again. Billy (Skip) Jeffrey Associate Pastor Grace Baptist Church Decatur Texas
