Harold Brown Cameron, M.D.
My sympathy to Dr. Cameron's family. He delivered me on 11/1/54. A wonderful doctor, so my Mom used to tell me! May God be with your family during this time of sorrow.
Dr. Cameron delivered me on February 25, 1951 at Mother Francis Hospital. My mother always related the story about him being called away from his (33rd) birthday party that day to deliver me. My mother named me after Dr. Cameron. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. His death on our birthday is a bit sureal. What an amazing man! What a lot of babies he delivered! I guess he was the first human being to touch me. Rest in peace, Dr. Cameron. With deepest sympathy to his family, from Harold W. Waller, Memphis. Tennessee
Sweet Eleanor, I too dearly loved your precious Harold. He was truly a gentleman's gentleman. He always had a friendly smile ready to flash at any given time and kind words of encouragement.
Dr Cameron delivered my daughter in June of '83. That following fall he quit delivering babies. Every year when I would go in for my yearly checkup he would ask me if I was gonna have any more children. I would always tell him, if you aren't delivering them, I'm not having them. He was such a kind, caring dr.
I was one of those "10,000 babies" delivered by Dr. Cameron at Medical Center. He got me off to a good start in March 1955 and I am grateful!
