Harold Brown Cameron, M.D.
Dr Cameron was such a wonderful doctor that always had time to talk to his patients (sometimes about too much weight gain) but honestly so concerned and caring. My first pregnancy, my labor was quite lengthly and he gave me something to help speed things up. I was a little out of my head and I said "Dr Cameron is such a good Biscuit Cooker." My family wrote that down and it is in my sons baby book. He delivered my sisters , sister-in-laws and mine which was a total of 10 babies in our family. We all loved him. I knew he was a great Christian and his legacy will always be remembered. I will always be grateful for my two healthy babies that he delivered. Matt (1975) and Will (1982) They are both Doctors and I have told them both how wonderful Dr. Cameron was. He will always be in my heart! Thanks to each family member for allowing him to touch so many lives. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love and sympathy to each of you.

I was priviledged to know Dr. Cameron for many years, and honored to have him as a good friend. Words seem to be lacking when you try to describe just how fine a person Dr. Cameron was, and the influence he had throughout Tyler in medicine, in the community, and on so many people. I do not know any person who did not hold Dr. Cameron in the highest esteem.
When I thnk of him, and all the times we visited over the years, I remember a very kind and caring person that you enjoyed being with, a person whose visit made your day better. He delivered our son,John, and would always ask about him each time we met. Over so many years I was constsntly amazed at how he seemed to never change in appearance , and his great attitude toward life and people was constant.
There are many ways to describe Dr. Cameron, all good, but I think one of the best would be to say that he was a true gentleman, a great friend, and a person that I, his many friends, and Tyler will miss. We have all benefitted from knowing him.
I pray God's blessings on you, his family at this time.

I knew Dr. Cameron only about one year before he became unable to attend our Men's Tuesday Luncheon Bible Class at Marvin. He was so very much respected by all the brethren, and his quiet and gracious demeanor was greatly appreciated.
I could tell how rich his sense of humor was. On one occasion I mentioned that this class was a "movers and shakers" class. He then held up his hand that was trembling from age and illness, and laughingly said, "We're shakers alright!"
We miss him, his humor and his love for the Word of God, but we rejoice that this beloved physician in now in the presence of The Great Physician whom he so faithfully served.
