I will always appreciate Woody for standing up for peace when others were too eager to rush to war. My condolences to all who hurt from their loss.

We had the privilege of serving with Woody in the Air Force during the early 1970's. It was an honor to call the man a close friend during our time together overseas. Like many old service ‘buddies', we grew apart as the years passed but Woody was always there in our hearts and thoughts, laughing and sharing our adventures and memories. It is with our deepest regret that we heard of his passing and we send our heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends.

Dear Diane - I am so sorry that we were out of state at the time of Woody's funeral.
Woody made some wonderful contributions to planning and development that cannot be replicated. He always said he was responsible for Doug and I having met during the state planning process. We owe him a lot.

With our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.

It's hard to believe. It's hard to breath. I would call him everyday and he would ease my fears. I left him a text today and called but there was no reply. It's hard to believe I'm never gonna beable too speak with him again. He was so smart and Careful to be respectful...With his own sharp wit ..He was my hero.
