Diana and family,

Within weeks of meeting Howard, I felt as if he had been my friend for 20 years. He graciously invited me into his weekly men's bridge group, and it was an honor to join him. I will miss his humble manner, his quiet intelligence, his kind thoughtfulness. What a gentleman! I send my deepest condolences on your loss.

Dear Diana,
The photographs and music on the website express what a loving and fulfilling life Howard had with you and all his family and friends.Barney Barnhardt notified all Howard's Reynolds High School friends with great fondness and we have all been in close touch yesterday. Barney hopes to represent us tomorrow at Howard's funeral. I have wonderful memories of the kind, sweet, and gentle man your dad was. I will always remember him in his "white official" CCSDA outfit running around on the pool deck making sure all of our swim meets ran perfectly (perhaps with a few drips of sweat rolling down his face) - but he always did it with a smile on his face!

Sending you all many hugs, love, comfort and blessings as you celebrate the life of wonderful man!
