Nancy, I just now learned of Hal's passing. Our sincere condolences--he was a really fine person. Blessings to you. Linda and Ted
Dear Nancy and family,
Our heartfelf sympathy in the passing of Hal. We enjoyed fun times together playing bridge. The world had need of Hal and he made it a better place. God give you courage, comfort and strength during this time of grief. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Dear Nancy - I was so sad to hear of Hal's death. I've been feeling "guilty" for a year for not following up with a visit with the two of you. I will never forget that amazing journey you took to be with Mary Frances and how she held on for you to be there. Words are inadequate - I just felt you both were very special people.
We offer our deepest condolences to Nancy and her family and regret not being able to attend Hal's memorial service. He was a very special person with a great sense of humor. We cherish the memories of our times together at St. Simon's Island with Hal, Nancy Janet and Chip. I just hope there is a good golf course in Heaven, because I am sure Hal will be playing it.
Nancy and family, my deepest sympathies to you. Hal had a way of reaching everyone with the most genuine friendliness I ever knew. Whether Tax Aide, Election Official, Rotary secretary, military service, library volunteer, he was a true selfless leader. An hour a week plus Rotary projects over 25 years on one level means surface friendship but on another it demonstrates his consistency as a beloved and treasured friend. I will miss him so much.
With sympathy, Bob Hamilton
