Jack Casey IS everything that a Marine aspires to be -- what more can be said. I very much look forward to serving with him once again when I join the ranks in heaven of those who have gone before me. Semper Fi, and thank you for man you are.
Captain Jack, I had never met you until you graced my house with your presence during a reunion for A Company at Quantico. I had left Vietnam before you arrived to take charge. I knew when I did meet you, it was easy to see how you were made captain from being a mustang. I had served with a number of mustangs and every one remember how it was to be an enlisted man and they and you took very good care of your men. i AM SO VERY GLAD AND HONORED TO HAVE BEEN MADE A MEMBER OF A GROUP OF DEDICATED MARINE SERVICEMEN. I want to now ask God to please watch over those loved ones you left here and you are now waiting for them and all I can say is SEMPER FI MARINE. SGT OLIVER LEO BREEDEN JR.
Our respect for Captain Jack was enormous and his selflessness for the men in his company was endless. He guided and protected us in everything he did in Nam and we will miss him beyond what words could express. We will continue to keep Alpha A Co. flying, as we have promised. We will "Maintain", Captain. We are all here for you, Bonnie. Semper Fi, Condy and Gloria Jones
My condolences to all his Family and Friends.I will miss our breakfasts in Oceanside when he came to visit family. He was my Captain in Nam, I've looked up to him and respected him for many years. " I will miss you Capt. Jack"
Captain Jack Casey was my Commanding Officer at the end of my tour in country. I was very fortunate to have served under his command, he was a proud Marine who always got the mission accomplished. I will certainly miss our conversations we shared on birthdays.
May you rest in peace.
