I was very saddened to hear about Jim's passing in a Facebook message from Ashley. I knew Jim from when I first went to Japan in 1986 when he was the foreign staff coordinator for ComputerLand Japan. Several years later I was working as a contractor at Morgan Stanley and they asked me if I knew anyone who could be an IT Manager. A few days later I ran into Jim and Tomoko at Hibiya station and suggested he contact Morgan Stanley. The rest, as they say, is history. I cannot add any more to the praise for Jim's wonderful friendship that others have written here. our best wishes are with you Tomoko and Ashley.
To Jim and his family,
Every time I had the opportunity to work with Jim, I knew the experience would not only be wonderful fun because of Jim, but that the folks would get significant value from the program. The Court will miss Jim, his good work, and his infectious happiness. Thanks
Dear Jim, we will always remember you. Your smiles and friendship filled our tennis outings. You inspired us in the game of life. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Dear Adams family,
The last memory I have of Mr. Adams was seeing him happily playing super mario bros on wii at your house, and thinking what a cool dad he was. I will joyfully remember him as such. He lives on in our hearts and minds, as well as in all the crafty things he made that are sitting around all over your house.
