Dear Chip, Monica and kids. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
With deepest sympathy,
Condolences from the Holy Cross graduating classes of the 30's, 40's and the 50's.
To Jim's family,
New to KC, we met Jim and Eva in the early 60's and Daris & I immediately became friends. We lived in Kansas City for about 4 years but that was long enough to develop a lifelong friendship. We moved back to Little Rock but always stayed in touch with Eva and Jim. Jim was one of the nicest men I ever knew. He was an absolute joy to be around and it was impossible to be gloomy in his presence despite how you may have initially felt. His humor and wit was irrepressible and the memories of shared moments will never be forgotten. He was a man and his was a friendship which I shall never forget. He truly was one of the great human beings I have known in my life. Sincere condolences to the "kids" and grand-kids. Jim and Daris Barre'.

Your dad always had a smile on his face and a kind words. I feel so blessed to have had he and your mom there for us when we were growing up. His spirit lives in my heart and I am sure the heart of many lives he touched.
