Remembering your great love story today and always.
We were saddened to read Jim's obituary in the paper on Sun. We were around the corner friends for ten years, and Jim and Evelyn were such wonderful neighbors. We were planning on stopping in to see him on our way home from church on Sun. I'd picked some flowers to take him. Unfortunately that didn't happen. I woke up with a heart problem and would not have been able to go anywhere. Had cardio-version done on Mon. We feel bad about not seeing him before he passed on, but glad we did stop at his home about a mo. or so before. We sat on the back porch and had a very nice visit. He was such a wonderful man, and we always enjoyed hearing about his life and great experiences. We are sure you were, and are very proud of him. Hopefully you find comfort in knowing he enjoyed a good life and years of retirement. God blessed him with 90 years. We are grateful to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Friends, Marvin and Gloria who lived at 533 W. Archer St. for ten years. We now live at 1808 Aquila Dr. in Pueblo.
