Marlene & Family, I am very sorry for your loss. I remember Jim as a humorous & loving man. May your many joyous memories comfort you.
I enjoyed working with Jim for many years as a driver for Spartan Stores. I always looked forward to runs that we would do in the same direction so we could take breaks together. Jim would always talk about his family and I could tell how proud he was of them. I later left driving and worked in the warehouse where I met Jim's son Craig. I could see Jim's influence in Craig. Right down to his voice and mannerisms. And especially his humor. You left a proud legacy Jim, and we will miss you. And to you Craig, and the rest of the Hardin family, you have my sincerest condolences.
I worked with Jim at Spartan, and then represented him as his business agent at Teamsters Local 406 until his retirement. He was a really good friend. I have said for over 30 years that Jim is one of the 2 nicest men I ever met. My heartfelt condolences to all of you.
We are so sorry to hear about Jim. We worked together at Spartan Stores. He always made it a better place to work.
so sorry to hear about your dad ..we are thinking of you all...
