Dear Karen and family ... Please know our prayers and love are with each of you... The most significant peace there is .. Is knowing your father is with our Father... And real peace has been realized by him... That Gods arms of love will surround him forever.....Daddy Jim has completed his purpose and his work is done ... What a glorious thought... To hear the applause and take His hand ... And know that you're finally Home!!

Great picture of "Daddy Jim". I so enjoyed reading about his life, esp. that he loved the sea. Thanks to you for your faithfulness in his last years of life.
Jim was always a bright and friendly face at Magnolia Glen. He and Jean loved having lunch together every day. My parents loved visiting with them, seeing them in the halls, and hearing stories of Morganton and family events with his daughter, Karen, and her family. He and I had wonderful conversations about my and Karen's college days and our lives since. He will be missed by us all and we hope his memory will be forever in the hearts of his family. Karen and family,
Our hearts go out to you in this time of loss. You have been a wonderful example of a loving and faithful family. He is resting with our Lord and at peace.
