Jimmy and Joyce: I have never been so shocked as when I got the message of James' home going. Having visited with him two days earlier, and planning another get-together, it was unreal when I received word in NY of his passing. One of many things that I know about him is how much he loved and respected his parents. He also had a deep love for his Lord and the church. God bless you,
What a special man you raised; he will be greatly missed. My heart is broken at the loss of such a wonderful friend but I am rejoicing mightily in his arrival in heaven. I know that one day I will see James again and hopefully get that big bear hug that he always had ready. I am thrilled that James spent his last days studying the bible, reparing and preaching and sharing the Word of God. He was so excited about the opportunity to share what he loved most, Jesus Chirst. I am honored to have known James and humbled that he called me friend.
Joyce and Jimmy my deepest sympathy. There are no words however heartfelt, that can ease your sorrow, but may it strengthen you to realize that those who care for you are close in heart. I enjoyed all those years chatting with you @ the YMCA. We all send our regards. If there is anything we can do for you, please do not hesitate to call.
James will never be forgotten. His heart was on fire for The Lord. He had a great sense of humor & was a good friend of mine from FBC of Jax. May we all hold onto the beautiful memories he created w/ us & be comforted knowing he is joined w/ our Heavenly Father. May God comfort his family & friends.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Jame's family. May God bless you and comfort you through this difficult time.
