I will always remember Jim for his work in Kiwanis. One of the best introductions I have ever heard is when he introduced the entertainment for a District Convention in Nashville. In addition to his quick wit, his singing ability will be missed by all. His dedication to Kiwanis will always be an inspiration to me.

Best friend, excellent bridge partner, crossword puzzle fan. Trips to condo in Florida to be beach bums and play bridge. Favorite places to eat: Jason's Deli, Picadilly Cafeteria, Wendy's. Favorite breakfast egg, bacon, iced milk, iced orange juice, and Pepperidge Farm thin-sliced white bread.
He will be missed.
I was actually just thinking of Dr. Ware today. He was such a wonderful man and so gracious with students. I remember his willingness to help me when I was a student, and I recall the many years he fought so passionately for a new math building. Every time I pass the spot where the old math building used to be, I still think of Dr. Ware. We lost a special part of UTC when he retired, and he will be missed. He was one of a kind.
