Jimmy, I signed the guestbook on the ABH website, then found the photo array on the funeral home site. Thanks so much to you and Carolyn for sharing these!! I copied the one of Jean in the payroll office and in the red fleece to my computer. I will look at these often. God Bless.

Dear Jimmy and Family,

Reading of Jean's death in today's paper is such a sad event for me. I worked with her at Westinghouse when I was fresh out of high school, and we became good buddies even though there was a 15 year age difference. I have thought of her often over the past 38 years since my employment there with love and joy. I remember all the laughter, the day after Thanksgiving shopping trips to Lenox Mall, the things she told me about life, her stories about your mother, her sister's kids and loads of other things.

Oddly enough, I mentioned her in a conversation with a young man I work with now, sharing a bit of the sage wisdom she offered me as that young, inexperienced girl. As a young woman, I could not understand how someone "so much" older than me could and would be such good friends with me. After years of working with many young people, with the same age differences and more, I understand that the love and friendship she gave me at that young age is not an unusual thing, that is simply that friendship and love knows no age boundaries. To this day, her friendship of 40 plus years is a cherished part of my life, and I will continue to share it with those who enter my life for what I hope is years to come.

My most heartfelt and sincerest sympathies to all of you.
