Jeannette was a wonderful teacher and my mentor at John Glenn Jr. High when I started teaching in 1971. Her laughter and optimistic view was always there. She loved her family and German heritage. She loved history and made learning fun for her students. Her travels and involvement in politics were always full of good stories. She left a lasting legacy. I will miss you dear friend.
