What a lovely, funny and engaging man and teacher. Mr. Ward never failed to challenge us. I have thought of him so many times over the years with fondness and appreciation. Sending prayers and peace to his family.
ive often thought of mr.ward through the years & our arm wrestling matches we held in class from time to time ! a very respected teacher & mentor of mine we did share some interesting storys & events which will forever be apart of my life. rest in peace mr.ward my thoughts & prayers to you mrs.ward ,leanne & family.
Mr. Ward was always one of my favorite teachers and always enjoyed bumping into him around town. In his class, I never found myself looking at the clock. He kept our attention the whole time and was a great teacher. He was one of a kind.
I graduated from Shandon in 1966, coming from Delano as a junior. I knew I was accepted when I wore a pair of new cowboy boots to school, and Mr. Ward commented "you are finally going to conform, nice boots, Tex." For myself and my children, warm memories, love and prayer to Mrs. Ward and family.
Ed and Ginger Channell and family.
Mr. Ward reached out to us not only in the classroom but on a personal level. Mr. Ward had one of the best sense of humors and I will cherish the stories he told. He will be deeply missed. My thoughts are with you Mrs. Ward and your family.
