What wonderful memories you must have of your parents, and also for Joy & Ivor in those growing up days in Atlanta and Toronnto. My connection with Joan is when I was on the Training College staff when the grandparents were Training Principals and Joan was a cadet. We remember Joan's gifts, especially in singing. We were blessed may times. Be assured of our prayer support in these days. Majors Earl & Annette McInnes
I am so sorry for your loss. Words cannot express the impact that they had on many people's lives. I have very fond memories of great wisdom given and laughter as well. I know their legacy will live on in the lives of their family. They will always be remembered.
Karen and Gord, Bev and Pierre, Kim and Darryl, Gary and and Megan---Your parents were a pair of characters. We always enjoyed them and their antics from the first time we met them many years ago at your wedding (Karen and Gord) till the last time we met at Rebecca and Brian's wedding. We share in your sorrow at losing their physical presence but also share in your joy in knowing that they are with their Saviour in the New Jerusalem.
Sorry about the passing of your mom and dad this week. They were amazing people and I will never forget the impact they have made on my life. Always made me laugh when we were together. The musical and song "We like sheep" will always be in my mind. Please find comfort that they are now with their Saviour, the one they served so faithfully.
