I miss you already Grandpa! You always had enough time to answer all of my 8 million questions I would have every time you came to visit and you were the best at sneaking me my favorite gummy bears so mom wouldn't find out! I still remember how proud you were when you told me that you finally had started wearing your seatbelt after all of my nagging. Every time I see those little toothpicks that look like carrots sticks I think of you too :) Love you Grandpa, nobody can ever replace you and I'm glad that I was blessed enough to have God put you in my life!
We will all miss him so much! He was a wonderful Dad to us all! He always greeted you with a smile, a twinkle in his eyes, and a kiss. He made you feel very loved. He had such an optimistic outlook throughout his life, which continued with him even when he was having such a hard time with his health these last couple of years. Even when he didn't feel well, he would smile and make you laugh. He used to say, "If I can make someone else's day by making them laugh, then I have made a difference in this world." Whenever I would pick him up from the hospital, the nurses would always tell him that they would miss him, because he was so cheerful and made them laugh. My friends in high school would always tell me how much they loved Mr. A. I was always jealous that the school wouldn't allow me to take my Dad as an English teacher. However, I was fortunate to have him as a teacher of life, and as my Dad. I will truly miss him, and look forward to the day that I can run up to him and give him a big kiss and hug in heaven. We miss you!
We will miss Grandpa Alberico's laughter and optimism. His spaghetti, chicken soup, and pizelles can never be duplicated. Many of his step-children are grateful to him for tutoring us in English grammar. Thank you, Becky and J'Neane, for escorting him to the angels for the rest of us. Love to Mom, Becky, J'Neane, and Ben in their time of sorrow.
