Continued prayers and support, to your family.

Very rare in the hurry and rush of business, does anyone stop to actually talk.
Ours was a long distance relationship. There were the occasional, unexpected visits, that now seem all too brief.

Speaking most of the time by phone, when something had broken or burned.
Still he always talked to, rather than at me. Problems were solved, solutions were found.
Seventeen years of questions, words and wisdom, left a lasting impression.

Battina and I express our sympathy and condolences.

It is my prayer that God will grant you strength to endure, hope to face tomorrow, and comfort for the journey ahead. We have truly lost a great soul that God has gained.

By no means do I intend disrespect, not attending the memorial.
I want to remember the people I like, as they were, when I knew them.

Years ago, a hurricane came on land.
I escaped to Jackson, Mississippi until the coastal weather was clear.
I did admit: "Sir, I was running for my life!" He smiled, relieved that I had avoided harm. Then said "Well as long as you're here, take the payroll back for Baird Steel"

I will remember him, as never too busy to spare a moment. Phone pressed to his shoulder, a wave of the hand goodbye, saying: "You be careful driving back down to Mobile"

Battina and I offer our condolences and prayers.
