To the Deyell Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathies regarding the passing of Mr. Deyell. My mother and father (Jim and Colleen Innes) live just down the road from you (as did I growing up). I have heard many a nice story about the Deyell family from my parents. Unfortunately mom and dad are away on holidays right now, but they were very saddened to hear about John's passing and they asked me to send their love to your family via the guestbook.
I truly enjoyed looking at the pictures online. While I knew of Mr. Deyell as the man who walked his dog and always said a nice 'Hello' in passing, it would appear that he was so much more. The pictures show a man who loved life and his family very much. They are beautiful.
Ironically, I now live in Omemee and sometimes go for a walk through the Emily Cemetery. I will make sure I stop by from time to time to say a quick hello to Mr. Deyell.

Dear Norma, John, Ellen and Family
So sorry to hear of John's passing. You are all in our thoughts.
Your pictures brought back many memories for the both of us.
For me it is memories of Buckhorn with Ellen and John Jr.
For Larry it is also for a few years at Camco.
Know you are in our thoughts at this difficult time.

Dear Norma, John Jr., Marcia, Ellen and family....What a moving service today both in the church and at the gravesite. The gallery of photos here is a wonderful tribute to John Sr. and depicts the colourful history of John's life. We enjoyed our visits with John at Buckhorn - he was always such a gentleman and had a twinkle in his eye. Our sincere sympathy to you all.
Aunt Norma, Ellen, John and family, words can not express how deeply saddened we are to hear of Uncle John's passing. I have so many fond memories that will make me smile for years to come. Words will not ease the pain of losing such a special person but please know you are all in our thoughts. Diane Albin and Jeff Sproule
