Colonel (Ret.) John W. Griffith
As I prepare for my baptism today, I feel led to memorialize John. I did not know him very long, and I did not get to see him very often, but those times I shared with him were such special times. He never once spoke to me of Christ's Salvation, but to be in his presence and share his company was to see Salvation embodied. His life and his heart were one under God. John's faith, hope, and love greatly influenced the change of direction of my life toward Christ, and I thank God every day for those meals we shared. My condolences to his family, and may God's grace heal the loss that reason cannot.
What a gracious and fine genteman. I will always appreciate his kindness as we worked together @ T &C Optimist Club. Our prayers and condolenses to the family. Gigem John
Thank you, John, for your service to our country.
Our most sincere condolences to John's entire family. He was a mentor and friend for 17 years at TI. A mighty man.
