I remember having beers with John down at SEMO...Always a friendly face and great humor before Blues and Cardinals games! R.I.P. my friend!,,,Todd Blackstock
To a One of a kind friend you will be sorely missed. I will always remember John standing beside me on the patio with a big smile on his face. Whenever I would go down to the Blues game the first place I would go was to John's corner. Just to stand around and talk. You are in our thoughts a prayers.
Very sad to hear....
would always see John at Blues games and he always had a huge smile and nice things to say.
we went to DB high school and I remember John as a good ballplayer and great guy.
He will be missed!
God Bless and prayers to the family.
Dear Nancy, JoAnn, and Bob,
I was so saddened to hear about John... I'm so glad that I had been able to see "Little Johnny Nicolay" all 'grown up' over the past few years and catch up on your families. He was kind and thoughtful. I can only extend my prayers sympathies to each of you and hope faith and family help you through.
To Joann, I am sorry I never met you, but Johnny spoke of you with love and warmth. I will keep all of you in my thoughts over the times to come.
Rest in peace John. You will always have a special place in my heart. I can still see your contagious smile in my mind after all these years. Much Love.
