John Sansing 1957 - 2012

John Sansing

Wednesday, November 28, 2012
I am terribly sad to hear of John's passing. John was a colleague at Freescale, a man of great kindness, passion and joy. I learned a great deal from him and appreciated his willingness to impart his experiences to much less experienced colleagues. While I had been out of touch with John the last three years, I often thought of and remembered him and our many conversations together, including several over lunch at the Freescale cafeteria. I can but imagine the pain and grief his passing must cause to those who were close to him. I pray that you will cherish your memories of him and have the strength to comfort each other in your time of grief.

Val,

Ida and I extend our sympathy to you and your family. I worked with John for many years, starting in early '80s. He's one of those who shaped, positively, who I am. We'll all miss him and cherish the time he was with us. I'll never especially remember his determination to seek out and do the right thing, and his laugh.

I'm so sorry to hear about John's passing. He hired me at Motorola and was a great mentor. He will be missed.

I am sad to hear of John's passing. I met him in the late 90's while working at Motorola. I remember him as smart, fair, a good businessman, and generally a nice guy. I am sorry for your great loss.

John 14:1-4 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”

To the Sansing family,
John was a close friend in college when I was in graduate school at UT. He was such a wonderful person -- honest, kind, gentle and honorable. John had a blazing intelligence that couldn't be missed, although he never showed it off or allowed it to make anyone else feel inferior. I am shocked that he passed at such a young age and cannot imagine your loss. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
Alice Davey Schroeder.
