Give thanksgiving and praise;
-for an awesome and loving and faithful husband and friend we had in Jonathan
-Give thanks that things weren't always perfect because through it we became more like Christ We grow spiritually if we are willing to submit our problems to Him.
-Give thanks for Jonathan's life
-I feel Jonathan whisper; Do not cry for me , cry only for yourselves. Grieve because it is healthy, good and healing, but do not grieve as those who have no hope"
Pray for those whose lives Jonathan touched, but do not have Christ as their Savior yet.

Live like Jonathan;
-Take time to enjoy God's creation - often
-Be a friend to all
-Forgive quickly
-Pray like crazy for your family
-Honor your parents
-Have fun with your kids
-Develop your God given talents
-Love your spouse with all that is in you
-Go on lots of little dates; coffee, running silly errands
-Hold hands
-Embrace
-kiss passionately, and often
-Never leave each other without saying "I love you, I'm praying for you." (I heard those words everyday, and will into eternity)

Christ has welcomed His good friend and buddy home, and said "Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord."

So many good memories. We were sad to hear of Jonathan's passing. But we know that we will see him again. We will continue to pray for all who were touched by his gentle spirit and huge life We are asking God to keep his family in the palm of His hand. Roy & Beth MacGregor

On behalf of The First Tee of the Triad, I want to express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of "Coach Buckaway". He made such an impression on not only the children in our organization, but on the other volunteers as well.

Jonathan showed the love of Christ not by talking, but by quietly doing. He helped in more ways than can be listed here. He was always the first to show up, the last to leave, and the one who gave his all.

Jonathan will be missed by many. His children, friends and family will be in my prayers.

Jonathan stopped me in my tracks playing drums for a charity event in which bikers and homeless gave themselves to Our Lord Jesus Christ. Like Christ; Jonathan did not pursue the rich and famous, those who feel they have enough worldly possessions to get them through life. He hung out with those of us concerned with the afterlife. I look forward to serving with him again. WOW! Norbert King
