I am really going to miss my "big brother". When he was in NY we had great times fishing, watching boxing and the NY Yankees, and having excellent naps while watching golf.. He is loved and will sorely be missed.

Dad everything I am is owed to you. Life lessons learned by the example, that I hope I have been able to pass on to Joey. On May 21 when Joseph Anthony Augone is born those lessons of life will be passed along again. Thanks for it all your loving son Joe Jr.

Even as my heart is broken, a memory will pop into my head that will make me smile or even laugh. When I was a little girl I thought that my Dad was stronger than King Kong. My dad could fix anything. He would say, "Nancy will do it, Karen will try, but Susan will call me." He taught me how to ride a 2 wheel bike, and years later, a stick shift when no one else would get in the car with me. My Dad was very loud. His laughter would fill the room. He didn't think it was Italian food unless it had red sauce on it. My Dad loved his family and adored those grand & great grand babies. I miss him! Volare con gli angeli. Ti amo, Susan

Uncle Joe will certainly be missed by the many people who love him, including his Long Beach family. The time that he spent with us was always special. Seeing his face light up when I would walk into the room, his extra-hard hugs, and his willingness to play a game or go see David in a show will be treasured memories for me. I'm so glad that we got to spend the time with him that we did, and that David got to know his Great Uncle (who was a really great uncle!). Love you Uncle Joe, and we will miss you. XOXO
