Joe and Doris were such a comfort to Bob and I during Bob's rehab at St Catherine's. We are so grateful to have known Joe albeit was a very short time. His knowledge was amazing and his mind as keen as a man half his age. We are blessed to have made his acquaintance. Psalm 116:5
Joe left a great sense of humor and wittiness about him that will be surely missed. God bless your family Psalm 46:1
Joe leaves a great legacy. I knew him to be a man of God full of wisdom and humor. He was a servant leader who loved life and made a difference in the world. I have been blessed by his example and friendship.
Great friend, will be missed. Pat Petrusse
Joe Gentry, was a mentor of mine and a loving man that embodied what a man should be and strive to be in life. We were life long fans of the Atlanta Braves, my father worked for the Railroad as did Joe, he met his wife in Georgia (Fitzgerald) and I am from Macon, GA, he carried a meeting every Thursday Night at the Westside Club where Joe taught me so much. My life has been blessed by just having met Joe Gentry and his sweet wife. I will forever be in his debt and hope to carry the same message he has done by just being a living example of a true Godly Man! Joe may you dance today with the Angels, and I know the words of our Savior will be to you, " Joe, Job well Done!" I will miss you buddy! My thoughts go out to the family at this time because this man will be missed by all!
