Just learned of Joe's passing and feel such a great loss has taken place! Met Joe many years ago at the VA and feel blessed to have crossed paths with him. I admired the tremendous pride he took in his projects in and around the hospital and the positive aura that illuminated from him when holding such friendly conversations with all. Joe was a leader, not follower, but still had a way to make everyone around him feel comfortable. He called me "smiley", but it was his smile that actually attracted people. Everyone loved Joe, he always had an uplifting thing to say. I know I always felt better when knowing he was working around the x-ray dept. Truly a very God fearing, kind, respectful, and nonjudgmental sole. Sincere condolences go out to his loved ones. I will remember him always, keep him in my prayers, and know the world was a better place when he was in it.
Dear Mullen Family,
Please know that you are in our prayers. Joseph and all of you mean so much to so many people. This was evident by the number of people who came to the wake and funeral.
Please know that we will be praying for Joseph and all of you.
