Juan Carlos, I feel I know you through your brother Victor who shared with me and others your struggle with Leukemia over the years. I was informed of your illness yet again shortly before I ran the Los Angeles Marathon to raise funds to fight leukemia and related blood cancers. I humbly dedicated the race in your name through most of the 26 miles I repeated your name over and over. My sincere condolences to your surviving family. God bless!
My prayers are with your family and sons. They were blessed to know you and have you as their father. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
Juan Carlos, no one can take away the pain and loss your loved ones must feel, but hopefully they can take comfort in the knowledge that you are at peace with God . . . and one day, you will be together again. You were an inspiration to our sons Aaron and Alex. They are both very proud of you as you have been of them. Rest in peace knowing that Aaron and Alex will be loved and taken care of by all of the family members and friends.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. His fight is finally over and now the healing process happens for the family. Know that he is free from all earthly pain and is now in heaven and smiling down on all who loved him so dearly. My love to you all. Marge ( Lake Havasu City, AZ)
Life is so unfair sometimes....you were such a wonderful man, great son, father and brother, inspiring coach and great friend. You fought so hard and accomplished your goal of seeing your sons grow up. We were so lucky to have known you and don't worry, we will always have your family's back.
