Mrs. Dickinson was one of my very favorite Georgetown moms, at the pool and watching over "the gang". Thoughts, prayers and love to you all over the loss of a truly special lady.
Mrs. Dickinson, as I addressed her when taking piano lessons as a kid, used to transpose music from the rock group KISS for me. She used to tell me after every lesson "you're going to be a star!!!" even with the awareness that I clearly wasn't practicing or taking my lessons seriously. Her encouragement, enthusiasm, and words will always be with me. Thank you, Mrs. Dickinson.

So many happy shared memories -- christenings, weddings, birthdays,Meddybemps, Christmas tree cutting, apple picking and all made richer by Karen's presence. In a way death is a new journey -- for Karen in her place and for us in ours, lets go forward together.
All our love

It was truly a pleasure to know and work with Karen. I'll aways be impressed by her positivity, knowledge, and ideas. Deepest sympathies.
Owen and I know how much Karen treasured her family and our hearts are heavy as you gather in tribute to her love. She was so proud of the family quilt that showed what a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother she was. Bless all of you. Ann and Owen Sutherland
