Kathryn Braudrick Sandridge
Mrs Sandridge was a lovely lady. She will be greatly missed!
Please accept my condolences on your loss. I spoke with Mrs. Sandbridge by phone and enjoyed talking with her about her husband who was a professor and colleague of mine. I know she was a great source of strength and support to him and to higher education generally. She leaves a wonderful legacy. Marvin Phaup (Washington, DC)
We were so sad to see the obit for Kathryn. We visited her in March and had lunch with her. We could see that she was more fragile and had less mobility. But she was her usual bright and charming self. Bob taught with Bill at Roanoke College, and he went into Bill 's economic consulting business before Bill retired from teaching. After Bill died, we began visiting Kathryn at Cedarcrest when we were in Richmond. We always had a wonderful lunch with some catching up and reminiscing. We will miss her. We plan to make a contribution to the Sandridge Leadership Award given annually to a Business/Econ. student at Roanoke College in Kathryn's memory. Our condolences to her family.
