There was a contemporary Christian song back in the 1970s that perfectly described Larry: "It only takes a spark to get a fire going, and soon all those around can warm up in its glowing."
Larry Wilson/Gunter was a catalyst because he made things happen all around him. He made people not only feel better --- he made us better people. I am blessed that Larry touched my life for the past 41 years and I count myself fortunate to have been his friend.

The first day I met Larry, I felt I had made a friend for life. He always made people feel that way. I will miss his laughter and sense of humor. Larry wouldn't let anything come in his way to try to help people. May God bless him and care for his family during their loss of a truly amazing person that I'm greatful too have met.
Larry was one of the kindest and sweetest men I have ever known.
I will truly miss him.
I am so blessed to have crossed paths with such a hard working determined individual. I will remember him and his stories that he shared with me during our visits. God has blessed me by placing Larry and Patricia in my path. He will be missed.
I loved hearing Larry's laugh and radio voice in the mornings while getting ready for school. He was definitely one of a kind with a sweet spirit and caring ways. You will be missed! Sherry Wickersham Gibbon
