I am so sorry to hear the news of Larry's passing, I was a fraternity brother and basketball mate in Wilson. I often tell stories of how hard it was to get around him in the lane!. God bless all of friends and family.
We are so sorry to hear of this terrible family loss. We think so much of his sister, Joy. Their family are dear friends.
I just heard tragic news, Larry and I worked out at the collinsville ymca often in the afternoon, we talked and laughed about sports his business he never mentioned his position just said he worked at a bank in Rocky mt. lol. He had just mentioned his family that had came in for thanksgiving some from other states etc. He had just showed me a new "super set" exercise. I enjoyed him so much me and my son! I met his wife once outside of el ranchos' and saw her a few times at YMCA. Blessing to his family to his family and happy holidays I know he will still be with you all standing TALL and smiling!!!!!!!!!!! Sincerely Patrick
Betty, Daniel, and Matt -- I still can't believe Larry's gone. My heart aches for you all and I have no magical words to make everything better. The one thing I can do is pray for you...and please know that I lift your names to our Lord every morning and evening. Larry left a lasting impression on my life as well as many others -- and for that I'm forever grateful!
My heart goes out to the family. As a graduate of FC in 1976 Larry was a hero of mine as I had watched him play basketball with other friends like Mike Stuart and Kenny Joyce. I left the community to prepare for ministry and great to hear of how Larry used his life to make a difference in others. You and earth has lost a soul but heaven gained a light. Our prayers go out to you and God Bless and keep you in all His ways.
