From your "former student" turned friend you were such an inspiration to me. You taught me things beyond the classroom days. You taught me how to just live freely (although I am still working on that as we speak), how to accept myself for being the woman I am, and to live in the moment. It took you believing in me to do something as little as get my driver's license at age 36. I didn't want to let you down or put your work and believing in me in vain. You felt like my mom, my aunt, my friend, and a true confidant!! And you were hilarious!!! Always that unexpected humor that opened up worlds of conversation. I love you and will honestly miss our times together but most of all I will miss your faithfulness to me. You accepted me and welcomed me into your home, your family, and your heart. And I consider myself so blessed by everything you did for me and my family. But until we meet again on the other side, I will say "See ya later, my friend."
