Vern was an amazing encourager during my years as senior pastor of Woodbury Lutheran Church. He was always there with a word of affirmation for so many. His faithfulness in worship and his deep interest in the things of the kingdom were an inspiration. I will be out of town the day of his service, but my heart will be with all who gather to celebrate God's grace in his life, especially Marlene and family. I rejoice in the crown of life which is Vern's in Christ Jesus! I give thanks for Vern's faith and pray that the risen Lord will provide comfort and strength along the way of grief. Susie and I send our love.
We will miss you at the many Easter and family celebrations at Mark and Debbies. So many wonderful memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
My prayers go out to everyone in your family. My positive memories of Mr. Ingvalson will always remain filled with kindness and intelligent direction. With Much Love Renee' Parcheta
I am very sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of working on a number of issues with Vern during his stint with the Farm Bureau. I held him in high esteem as a man of strong faith, honor, and integrity.
Vern: A wonderful Christian man with principal, character, honesty, who was respected by all who knew him. My sympathy to Marlene and your family!
